Vickie Sue Stromatt

Vickie Sue Stromatt, 66 of Double Springs, passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Southern Tennessee Regional Medical Center in Lawrenceburg, TN.

She was born July 16, 1954 in Decatur, Illinois to Donald & Daisy Norman Coggins. Vickie enjoyed gardening, baking and crocheting.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 11am to 1pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 12 at 2pm at Houston Church of God Cemetery.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roger Lee Stromatt and eight siblings, Betty Poirier, Daisy Mae Hodges, Leahla Rousseau, Edna “Peggy” Wright, Anne Richard, Martin Wright, Donald Coggins and David Coggins.

Survivors include four children: Roger (Tonya) Stromatt, Alicia (Heath) Taylor, Charise Bailey and Elizabeth (Nathaniel) Godsey; grandchildren: Leah Ferrell, Tanisha Taylor, Colby Taylor, Jaden Stromatt, Taylor Lackey, Kayla Stromatt, Mitchell Taylor, Nicqolas lvory, Jarett Bailey, Tristan Stromatt, Aubree Bailey and Olivia Godsey; great grandchildren, Jace Ferrell and Karter Ferrell; and four siblings: Helen (James) Grabney, Faye (Larry) Clark, James (Candace) Wright and Jayne Allison.

A memorial service for Mrs. Stromatt will be announced by Nichols Funeral Home at a later date.
