Lura Ruby Walker Pearson Hunt

Lura Ruby Walker Pearson Hunt, 97, of Double Springs entered into rest on Friday, May 22, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 16, 1923 in Clark County, Alabama.

Visitation will be Sunday, May 24, 2020 from 2pm-4pm at Pine Grove Church of God in Double Springs where the service will be held at 4pm. Brother T.J. Millican will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.

Lura is survived by her children, Patricia Ramey, Sandra (Ricky) Crowe and Clifton Pearson; grandchildren, Monica (Steve) Jacques, Richard (Caroline) Crowe, Lisa (Slade) Trimm, Wes (Tina) McCain, Daniel (Christina) Pearson, Travis Harrant and Holli Gilbert; siblings, Dorothy Davis, Marvin (Barbara) Walker, Frank (Ann) Walker, Johnny (Carol) Walker and Jackie (Margaret) Walker; numerous great and great great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Alma Walker; first husband, Cleo Pearson and second husband, John Hunt; sisters, Myra Jean Hare, Roberteen Hawk, Virginia Williams, Rosa Nell Williamson and Mary Alice Morris and brother, Farris Walker.
