Leonia Missouri Box

Leonia Missouri Box, age 84 of Double Springs, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at her residence.

She was born July 18, 1937 to Jim and Arness Hill in Winston County, Alabama. She enjoyed knitting, quilting, playing cards, and growing flowers.

Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home of Double Springs where service will follow at 2:00 p.m.. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Houston Alabama. 

Leonia is survived by her daughter, Lillian Ann (Jody) White; son, Michael Anthony Box; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Arness Hill; husband, Donald Ray Box; son, Guy Jerome Box; brothers, Tommy Hill, Lawton Moore, Homer Hill, Raymond Hill, Vester Hill, Lester Hill, Melvin Hill, and Roy Hill; and sisters, Flora Mae Bell and Fannie Brown.
