June Bush Tidwell

June Bush Tidwell, 87, of Arley entered into rest on Monday, January 11, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Tidwell was born November 8, 1933 in Jasper, Alabama.   June was a member of Arley First Baptist Church and was a former Sunday School Teacher.  She loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren; loved teaching at Meek, Addison and Walker College and loved her friends. Due to her love of learning and her desire to make it available to all people, the family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Arley Public Library at PO Box 146, Arley, AL 35541 or The RISE Center at Addison School at PO Box 240, Addison, AL 35540.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at 2pm at Houston United Methodist Cemetery.  Dr. Roger White will officiate.

June is survived by her daughter, Cassandra T. Tingle; grandchildren, Cassandra June Hearn and her husband, Dexter; Larry Thompson and his wife, Amber and Sarah Beth Waldrep and her husband, Jacob; great grandchildren, Zachary Hearn and Zoe Hearn; brothers, Newman Bush and his wife, Gail and Fred Bush and his wife, Camille and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne L. Tidwell; daughter, Debra Thompson; son-in-law, Paul Thompson; an infant son and parents, F.C. and Lorene Bush.
