Jimmy Wheeler

Jimmy Wheeler, 67 of Haleyville, entered into rest on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Haleyville.

Jimmy was born on September 23, 1952 in Haleyville to Johnnie and Agnes Wheeler. Jimmy retired from the City of Haleyville after 30 years of employment with the Sanitation Department.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 1-3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be at 3pm. Brother Ricky Yocom will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Haleyville.

Jimmy is survived by his brother, Jerry Wheeler and his wife Patricia; sisters Jo Ann Wheeler and Betty Mooneyham; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Wheeler; sister, Margie Kelly; and brother-in-law, Frank Mooneyham.
