James "Monk" Sanford Cagle

James Sanford “Monk” Cagle, 81 of Double Springs, entered into rest on Monday, July 6, 2020 at his home. James was born on March 29, 1939 in Winston County, Alabama. No services are planned at this time. James is survived by his wife, Sue Cagle; sons, Mike Hamby, and Steve Hamby and his wife Shannon; brother, Edward Cagle and his wife Sharon; sister, Virginia Goodwin and her husband Billy; and three grandchildren, Marcus Hamby, Hayden Hamby and Elizabeth Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Newman and Cora Lee Cagle; and brother, William Cagle.
