James Elzie Johnson

James Elzie Johnson, 82 of Houston, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Johnson was born on June 27, 1940 in Haleyville, Alabama.

No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his son, Dee Johnson and his wife Sheila; daughters, Dorothy Bell and her husband Hollis, Margaret Abbott and her husband Lonnie; brother, Richard Johnson and his wife Betty; grandchildren, Keith, Linda, Dana, Jimmy, Wayne, Elvis, Felicia, LeeAnn, Cassandra, Murray, George, Lee and James; and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death his wife, Eva Jeraldine Johnson; parents, Elbert and Selbie Miller Johnson; infant son, James Elzie Johnson Jr.; and daughter, Shelby Johnson.
