Gary Wayne Lester

Gary Wayne Lester, 65, of Double Springs, entered into rest on August 13, 2019 at his residence. Gary was born on December 2, 1953, in Hodges, Alabama. He was an avid Alabama and Winston County High School football fan, and he enjoyed hunting. He was devoted to his mother and the rest of his family. A memorial service will be held at Double Springs First United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.. Brother Bob Alford will officiate the service. Gary is survived by his mother, Louise Lester; and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James H. Lester; and his sister, Cathy Lester Wright.
