Dorris Johnson Diehl, 89 of Haleyville, entered into rest on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Dorris was born on February 2, 1931 in Haleyville.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 from 11:00am to 12pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be at 12pm. Reverend Mitch Nethery and Brother Jeff Flinn will officiate. Burial will be in Union Grove Congregational Church Cemetery in Haleyville.

Dorris is survived by her daughters, Eva Renee Foster and her husband James, Brenda Slattery and her husband Donald, and Elizabeth Wright; sister, Susan Story; grandsons, James Robert Edwards, Teddy Lee Foster, Jimmy Earl Foster, Jared M. Rasbury, Asa C. Rasbury, Christopher Dobbins, Aaron Gray and Steven Adonis Brown; and granddaughter, Leah K. Rasbury.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Johnson; second husband, Jim Diehl; daughter, Wanda Johnson; mother, Sally Dickinson; father and stepmother, Lonnie Williams and Eula Mae Williams; grandson, Randall Dobbins; and sister, Georgia Lee Evans.
