David Barron Cleghorn

David Barron Cleghorn, age 61, of Arley, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020. David was born in Cullman, Alabama on November 1, 1958 to Voyt and Renee Cleghorn. He graduated from Meek High School in 1976. He enjoyed anything outdoors, he also enjoyed watching sports, and spending time with his family, especially the grand kids. Visitation will be on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in the Helicon Community, where the service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Greg Dollar will officiate. David is survived by his son, Mickey (Leslie) Moore; daughter, Sara Hood; brother, Philip Cleghorn; sister Lila (Charles) McCombs; grandchildren, Lucas and Izabelle Moore, and Ben, Olivia, and Heidi Hood; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Voyt and Renee Cleghorn.
