Charles Ridgeway

Charles Edward Ridgeway, 76 of Alabaster, entered into rest on Friday, August 19, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Charles was born on July 21, 1946 in Griffin, Georgia to Bennett Ellington Ridgeway and Evelyn Vann Price Ridgeway. He proudly served his country for 5 years in the United States Marine Corps.  

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 2-3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 3pm. Keith Brasher will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Charles is survived by his wife, Barbara Ridgeway; children, Michael Agee, and Allison Holmes; grandchildren, Nicholas and Michael Brennan, and Brittany Zach and Elizabeth Agee; sister, Rebecca Swanner of Griffin, Georgia; brothers, Philip Ridgeway of Wedowee, Alabama, and Bennie Scott of Marietta, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
