William "Billy" Abercrombie

William James “Billy” Abercrombie Jr., age 84 of Arley, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham. 

He was born May 30, 1939 to William and Penny Abercrombie. 

Graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 2:00p.m. at Old Bethel Cemetery in Arley, Alabama. Duston Heath will officiate. 

Billy is survived by his wife, Bonnie Abercrombie; children, Nina West, Sherry (George) Ward, Shawn (Angie) Abercrombie, and Dana (Josh) Gilbert; daughter-in-law, Benita Abercrombie; brother, Dale Pratt; grandchildren, Amy Heath, Heather Martinez, Paul Abercrombie, Kejum Hayes, Tonya Abercrombie, Grant Ward, Brooklyn Speegle, Loren Hancock, Anna Kate Hardin, John Mark Abercrombie, and Blaine Gilbert; and host of great grandchildren,  great-great  grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Abercrombie; parents, William and Penny Abercrombie; brothers, Alton Brown and Noel Brown; sister, Sue Edwards.
