Vada Scott Brown

Vada Scott Brown, 83, of Bear Creek, Alabama entered in rest on April 8, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Brown was born on May 20, 1935 in Double Springs, Alabama. Vada was a member of Bear Creek No. 1 Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, going to church, reading her Bible and fishing.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2019 from11am-12pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will be held at 12pm. Daniel Green will officiate. Burial will follow in Ireland Church Cemetery.

Vada is survived by her son, Royce Scott and wife Charla; daughters, Margie Bennett, Glenda Wilkinson and husband Carl, and Jeannett Green; grandchildren, Robin, Randel, Kris, Channell, Michelle, Daniel, Jennifer, Stephanie, Jordan; multiple great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Chambers and wife Faye; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sons, George Phillip, Thomas Ray; daughters, Laretha Gay, Doris Nell; grandsons, Barry Allen Baker, Josh Williams; and parents, Alfred Thomas and Nettie Irene Chambers.
