Tony Barnes

Tony Louis Ernest Barnes, age 60 of Haleyville, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, at North Alabama Medical Center.

Mr. Barnes was born on September 27, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. Tony loved his flag and heritage, the outdoors, his motorcycles, and loved his family fiercely. He was a jack-of-all-trades.

Visitation will be Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4:00pm – 5:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 5:00pm. Brother Jeff Whitten and Brother Gary Wakefield will officiate.

Tony is survived by his wife, Tena Barnes; sons, Brandon (Jennifer) Cagle, and Bo (Tori) Willis; daughter, Toni (Kyle) Peden; grandsons, Gabriel Willis, Isaiah Willis, and Austin Lambert; granddaughter, Clara Belle Peden; siblings, Rhonda (Chris) Stidham, Clayton Noble, Richard Noble, and Randy (Patsi) Barnes; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mothers, Clara Thomas, and Teeny; grandfather, Ernest Thomas; father, Junior Barnes; aunt, Doris Barnes; mother-in-law, Dale Willis; and father-in-law, Hubert Willis.
