Tom Godbee

Tom Godbee, age 57, of Arley, passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born on September 1, 1964 in Cullman, Alabama to Jack and Hazel Godbee.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, where the service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Chris Godbee and Brother Junior Garmon will officiate.

Tom is survived by his wife, Cindy Godbee; children, Candiace (Jimmy) Morgan, Kayra (Hayden) Everett, and Trent (Lauren) Godbee; grandchildren, Tucker and Tanner Morgan, Grayson, Emery, and Everly Everett, and Grant and Gavin Godbee; siblings, Joy Lindley, Wendell Godbee, Gleta Dickey, Barry Godbee, Bruce Godbee, and Chris Godbee; a host of nieces and nephews; and his father and mother-in-law, Marvin and Virginia Cupp.

He was preceded in death by his parents, A.E. “Jack” and Hazel Denson Godbee; and nephew, Brian Miller.
