Susan Marie Mays Waldrop

Susan Mays Waldrop, born January 4, 1963, passed away on July 7, 2022. Susan passed peacefully at U.A.B. Hospital surrounded by those who loved her most. She went to be with the Heavenly Father at 3:07pm on Thursday July 7, 2022.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 2:00pm at White House Cemetery in Haleyville.

Susan is survived by her mother, Amy Mays; daughters, Stephanie Marie Waldrop Pimentel (Steven) and Katie Ann Waldrop Armstrong (Shaun Harris); 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Karen E. Howard and Sharon A. Mays; brothers, Paul S. Mays (Erin) and Tommy D. Mays (Leatha); and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Lee Waldrop; and her father, Clefus N. Mays.

Susan always had a deep appreciation for things of beauty and nature which were often reflected in her artistic crafts and photography. She loved her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren deeply and shared hopeful dreams for all of them. Susan took great joy in her pet cat named Mouse.
