Steven Rick Barton

Steven Rick Barton, 68, of Haleyville entered into rest on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at UAB Hospital. Mr. Barton was born in Haleyville, Alabama on February 24, 1952. He was a truck driver for Wal-Mart. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 2-4pm at the Piney Grove Community Center in Brilliant, Alabama, where a Memorial Service will follow at 4pm. Brother Dewayne Smith will officiate. Steven is survived by his wife, Carol Barton; children, Angela (Bobby) Walters, Jennifer Jones, James Michael Maher and Stephanie (Corey) Giesige; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Carly William (Sharon) Barton; sister, Cathy (Greg) Glass; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis Barton and Josie Elvia Ward Barton and brother, Hollis Larry Barton.
