Steve Allie Gaines Obituary (1956

Steve Allie Gaines, 65 of Arley, entered into rest on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. Steve was born on August 25, 1956 in Jasper, Alabama. Steve was a jokester and loved to aggravate people. Among his many hobbies, he loved to camp, play cards and work in his vegetable garden. He enjoyed traveling, especially going to Tennessee. Steve was a good man and if you needed him, he was there for you. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 2-4pm at Hamner Park in Arley, where a memorial service will follow at 4pm. Steve is survived by his wife, Tressa Skinner; step-daughter, Starla Morton (Katie McDonald); half-sister, Diane Sisk; mother-in-law, Nell Nethery; cousins, James Gaines, Cathy Tyree and Sue Farris; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Tressie Gaines; half-brother, Bill Sisk; aunt, Pernnie Gaines; and cousin, Lanny Gaines.
