Stephen Roy Bell

Stephen Roy Bell, age 68 of Arley, passed away Tuesday September 12, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 2, 1955 to Roy Edsel and Mary Bell. Stephen was an avid outdoorsman who loved his family. He was a member at Liberty Baptist Church in Helicon.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 p.m. at Liberty Baptist Church in Helicon, where the memorial service will be at 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Brother Greg Dollar will officiate.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Linda Bell; sons, Justin (Wendy) Bell and Lucas (Morgan) Bell; daughter, Courtney Smith (John Michael Knighton); grandchildren, Colton Bell, Camryn Bell, Vivianne Bell, Newt Bell, and Nolen Smith; sister, Debra Bell Sargent; nieces, Ashley Warrior and Anna Whiteside Read; and nephew, Nick Sargent.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Edsel and Mary Bell.
