Delene Thompson

Stacy “Delene” Thompson, age 80 of Haleyville, passed away December 25, 2020 at Haleyville Healthcare. She was born October 29, 1940. Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Winston Memorial Cemetery. Brother Jeff Whitten will officiate. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her son, Keith Hamby; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Tim and Jessie Flanagin; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Thompson; parents, John Ferrell and Opal Flanagin; infant daughter, Renee Hamby; and daughter, Sheila Daniel.
