Sandra Kay Hendrix

Sandra Kay Hendrix, age 63, of Haleyville, passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Mrs. Hendrix was born on August 8, 1957 in Columbia, Tennessee. She was an avid Tennessee Vols fan, Elvis Presley loving and Wrestling watching, kind hearted woman.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Wannell Scott will officiate. Burial will be at Litttleville Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.

Sandra is survived by her son, Will (Lindsey) Thackston; daughters, Candy (Glen) Brewer and Misty Walters (Jesse Parham); grandchildren: Raegan Thackston, Asher Ross Thackston, Calin Uriah Thackston, Justin Ross Williams, Zachary Thomas Pinkston, Cameron Lee Skelton and Lakota Elizabeth Parham; sister, Patsy Helmick; and brother, Lenny Johnson. 

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Jerry Hendrix; parents, William Murphy & Anna Laura Berry; grandparents, Bill & Blanche Johnson; brother, Larry Johnson; and sisters, Marie, Joyce, Jolene, Lavell and Lavonna.
