Ruth Marie Duvick Loveless

Ruth Marie Duvick Loveless, age 84 of Haleyville, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021, at her home.

Mrs. Loveless was born on December 8, 1936 in Newark, Illinois. Ruth spent her life raising children; worked in woodwork manufacturing; and at least spent 25 years cooking steaks at Seafood HydeAway. She was known as “Grandma Ruth” to many. Her family and friends were her life. She was a member of New Prospect Church.

Ruth is survived by her children, Benny Joe Loveless Sr., Richard Wayne Loveless, Donald Ray (Kimberly) Loveless and Vaudine “Marie” Loveless (Greg) Hyde; grandchildren, Benny Joe Loveless Jr., Brandon Loveless, Joshua (Erin) Sarver, Matthew Loveless, Noah (Erin) Loveless, Lisa Marie (Bobby) Owsley, Joshua A. Loveless, Karen Michelle Loveless, Derek Logan Loveless, Michael A. Hyde and Kevin Hyde; great grandchildren, William T. Owsley, Lucas Kinard, Norah Thompson, Peyton Roberts, Lyla Roberts, Zoie Sarver, Alice Loveless and Jaydhen; sisters, Caroline Gustafson and Myrtle Duvick; sisters in law, Pam and Judy Duvick; many other friends and relatives that loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ebert and Rosa Mathre Duvick; brothers, Ole, Ralph, Virgil and Forest Duvick; sister in law, Jane Duvick; grandchild, Taran Loveless.
