Ruby Lee Vanderford

Ruby Lee Vanderford, age 92 of Haleyville, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at Haleyville Health Care.

Mrs. Vanderford was born on October 19, 1928 in Winston County, Alabama.

Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2021 from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00pm. Brother Coy Morgan will officiate. Burial will be at Old Enon Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Lynn, Alabama.

Ruby is survived by her children, Virginia Butler, Ed (Sissy) Butler, Ruby Garrison, William (Katrina) Vanderford, Kenneth Ray Vanderford, and Jayne (Buddy Sparks) Channell; also 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Vanderford; Children, David Butler, and James Vanderford; and parents, James Bennett and Sally Loveless.
