Roger Gene Hyde

Roger Gene Hyde, age 61 of Haleyville, entered into rest on Friday, March 5, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Hyde was born on August 29, 1959 in Haleyville, Alabama.

Visitation will be Sunday, March 7, 2021 from 1pm - 3pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, Al where the service will begin at 3pm. Brother Brian Hutcheson will officiate. Burial will follow in New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.

Roger is survived by his wife, Shelia Hyde; daughter, Lagenia Keller; son, Eric Hyde; grandchildren, Haley Barber, Clayton Keller, Abagail Keller, Lily Hyde, Jackson Hyde, William Hyde, Holden Hyde, and Grayson Hyde; great grandson, Jonathan Stockman; mother, Nettie Hyde; brother, Benny Hyde; and sister, Carolyn Hyde. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy D. Hyde; and father, Benjamin Bates Hyde.
