Pauline "Paula" Vivian Allen Obituary (1954

Pauline "Paula" Vivian Allen, 64 of Double Springs, entered into rest on Friday, May 18, 2018 at her home. Paula was born on May 13, 1954 in Ionia, Michigan. She was a member of Harvest Springs Church. Paula became an ordained minister in 1995. She was always very active in church and with her church family until her health made it too difficult. Paula enjoyed clown ministry, reading her Bible and talking about the Lord. She enjoyed doing crafts, drawing, crocheting, fishing, and going to yard sales. Paula loved playing board games with her grandbabies and being with her family. There will be a celebration of life on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 6pm at First United Methodist Church in Double Springs. Paula is survived by her husband of 39 years, Dan Allen; son, Curt Ward and his wife Amanda; daughters, Cora Hunter and her husband Ronald, Patricia Allen; mother and stepfather, Vivian and Bob Wohlscheid; brother, Samuel (Lori) Seitler; sisters, Cheryl (Roger) Benchley and Debbie Seitler. She was "Grandma" to 8 grandchildren, Ashley Gunter, Kristina Decatur (Jason Rainey), Danielle Decatur, James Ward, Addison Quinn, Owen Quinn, Larry Hunter and Dakota Hunter and "Grandma Paula" to 12 great grandchildren, Lyanna Slone, Leeland Slone, Jaylyn Martin, Josey Martin, Jasimine Martin, Jada Martin, Anna Lockheart, Emanuel Rainey, Marvin Rainey, Sarah Rainey, Kaitlyn Rainey, Levi Gunter; and her best friend of over 40 years, Cathy Chaney. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Seitler Sr., brothers, Joseph Seitler Jr. and Steven Seitler.
