Paula Owens

Paula Eugena Crawford Owens, age 66 of Haleyville, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Haleyville Healthcare.

She was born December 2, 1955 to Eugene and Virginia Crawford. Paula loved everyone! Her door was always open. She was an avid Auburn fan. Paula enjoyed reading and loved learning and speaking Spanish. She loved going to church and sang in the choir for many years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Haleyville.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 12, 2022 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Winston Memorial Cemetery. Dr. Nathan Carroll will officiate.

Paula is survived by her sons, Jacob Owens (fiancé, Tara) and Matthew Owens; six grandchildren; niece, Jessica Crawford; nephews, Justin and Johnny Crawford; brother, Bruce (Susan) Crawford; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Owens; parents, Eugene and Virginia Crawford; and brothers, Bryan Crawford, Barry Crawford, and Craig Crawford.
