Patricia "Pat" Mae Benefield

Patricia Mae “Pat” Benefield, age 80 of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 4, 1940 to James and Hilda Malone. There will be a memorial service held at a later date. Pat is survived by her daughter, Mary “MiMi” Hughes, and her husband Phillip; son, William “BoBo” Swanger; sister, Donna Hood, and her husband C.R.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one step grandson; and one step great-grandson. She was preceded in death by (listed in the order of their passing) her father, James Malone; brother, Jerry Malone; mother, Hilda Malone; son-in-law, Patrick Murphy; daughter, Karen Murphy; and daughter, Sandra Swanger.
