Myrtle Jean Davis Chaney

Myrtle Jean Davis Chaney, 81 of Russellville, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at Alive Hospice Murfreesboro Office and Residence.

She was born June 23, 1942, in Winston County, Alabama.

Myrtle is survived by her children, James Eugene (Shelia) Heath, Christy Gwen (David) Wiles; and Michael Duell (Kaye) Heath; grandchildren, Lee (Amanda) McCalpin, Jason (Rachel) McCalpin, Alexandria Deann (Bradley) Ellis, Christina Heath, Samantha (J.P.) Stidham, and Nick Wiles; many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; sister, Marilou (Ray) Miller; and best friend, Gloria Jean Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Chaney; father, Ladis Lav Stehno; mother, Myrtie L. Newell Stehno; sisters, Lavis Gasaway and Betty Sue Shellnut; and brother, Orval Stehno.
