Monette Willene Flippo

Monette Willene Flippo, age 89, of Hackleburg, formerly of West Blocton, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Monette was born on January 28, 1932 to Clifford and Tera Frederick.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where services will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will be held in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Bessemer, Alabama. Reverend James Yielding will officiate.

Monette is survived by her daughters, Beverly Clark, Tina Yielding and her husband James Yielding; daughter in law, Pam Flippo; 7 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 3 great- great grandchildren; sisters, Alice and her husband Bob James, and Marian Babb; brother, Dwight and his wife Becky Fredrick; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Flippo Sr.; son, Eugene Flippo, Jr.; father and mother, Clifford and Tera Frederick; sister Geraldine Culberson; and brother in law, Glen Babb.
