Michael Lee McClellan

Michael Lee McClellan, age 68 of Jones Chapel, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 3, 1954 to Ottis and Clara McClellan. Mike was an easy going, very loving man. He loved his wife, family, and friends very much. Mike never met a stranger and always liked to joke and laugh with everyone he met. He loved God and believed in Him with all his heart. Mike liked to help others whenever he possibly could.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Bellview Heights Baptist Church in Jones Chapel, where the service will be held at 1:00 p.m. . Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery. Brother Randy Milligan will officiate.

Mike is survived by his wife, Dianne McClellan of Jones Chapel; two sons, Michael Douglas McClellan of Cullman and Lee Zane McClellan of Vinemont; one step son, Billy Christopher Carney of Cullman; one step daughter, Anna DeNae Tolbert of West Point; two step grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Tolbert; sister, Stephanie Willis Merick; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ottis Lee McClellan; mother, Clara Lurlene Sellers McClellan; and brother, Claude Jackson McClellan.
