Melendia Lee Johnson

Melendia Lee Johnson, 87, of Houston, Alabama entered into rest on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Johnson was born on May 6, 1934.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 1pm-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 2pm. Burial will follow in Burdick Cemetery in Houston, Alabama. Brothers Mike Joyner, David Nelson and Drew Robbins will officiate.

Melendia is survived by her daughters, Wanda Gail McKinney and Mary “Maggie” Hall and her husband, Terry; grandchildren, Victor and Linda Watts, Eric and Dannielle Watts and Amanda and Jerry Smith; 10 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Olen A. Stewart and Rachel M. Bailey Stewart; her husband, William A. Johnson; sister, I.V. Feltman and brother, Jerry Stewart.
