Mary "Cory" Cornelia Williamson

Mary Cornelia “Cory” Williamson, 55 of Double Springs, entered into rest on Saturday,  August 14, 2021 in Houston, Alabama.

Cory was born on October 28, 1965 at Eglin A.F.B. Cory was a helper to all. She loved her family, especially her grand “boys”. She loved her friends and was so special to so many. She loved the beach, it was her happy place. She loved the mountains and one of her favorite things to do was go camping. She loved to go and watch all the sports events that involved her friends and family. If you were in her circle, you know you were loved.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 3-5pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs, where services will be held at 5pm. Brother Danny Page will officiate. Burial will be in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Cory is survived by her daughter, Mariah Williamson; grandsons, Weston, Easton and Payton; sister, Carol Taylor; brothers, Jimbo Taylor and his wife Maryann, and Edward Taylor; nieces, Carrie Williams and her husband Darrell, and Jessica Taylor; nephews, Chris Hyche, Madison Taylor and Jacob Taylor; great niece, Kyla Hyche; great nephews, Brae, Payte, and Josh; and her many friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Taylor and Hassie “Pat” Taylor.
