Marguerite Ann Brents

Marguerite Ann Brents, 97, of Haleyville entered into rest on Sunday, December 22, 2019. Mrs. Brents was born December 31, 1921. Visitation will be Friday, December 27, 2019 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Haleyville. Marguerite is survived by her husband, James Brents; son, Keith Bloyd; daughter, Susan Defoor; grandchildren, Amy Selmon, Amber Fuller, Kevin Bloyd and Rachel Pearl and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Goddard and Susie S. Dunkin Goddard; sons, Bruce Bloyd and Gary Bloyd and sister, Betty Noble.
