Margaret Maxine Comeens

Margaret Maxine Comeens, 89, of Double Springs, Alabama entered into rest on May 27, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Comeens was born on January 23, 1932.    

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 12pm-1pm at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Haleyville, where services will be held at 1pm. Brother Dennis Stewart and Brother Terry Bendall will officiate. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Deborah Comeens Townsend (Jerry); her son, Randall Offie Comeens (Barbara); her grandchildren, Jason Townsend (Laura), Michelle Robins (John), Lindsey Fralix (Steven), and Jesse Comeens (Alisha); 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Gail Cagle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Elvie Batchelor; her husband, Offie Willard Comeens; her brothers, Alvin and Ray Batchelor; brother-in-law, Blaine Cagle; her sister-in-law, Reba Batchelor.
