Logan Jim Bailey

Logan Jim Bailey, 79 of Haleyville, passed away September 14, 2023.

He was born December 5, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri. Jim loved coaching basketball and loved to read. He had a black belt in Karate and several belts in Marshall Arts. Jim loved watching his hummingbirds, and loved painting pictures.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 1:30pm – 3:30pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville. Graveside service will follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery at 4:00pm. Brother Gary Wakefield and Brother Mitch Nethery will officiate.

Jim is survived by his son, Jamie (Kim) Bailey; daughters, Sandy Bailey and Teresa (Alex) Ergle; grandchildren, Britny (Joseph) Taylor, Trevor (Kaitlyn) Hodge, Bliss Bailey, and Rachel Bailey; great grandchildren, Payton Taylor, Parker Taylor, and Riley Hodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Bailey; and parents, Logan and Ann Lynn Bailey.
