Lisa Henderson

Lisa Hunter Henderson, 64 of Houston, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Brookwood Baptist Medical Center.

Lisa was born on July 1, 1958 in Haleyville, Alabama to Frank and Barbara Hunter. She was best known around town as a Jack’s biscuit maker. She was also a great piano player. Lisa loved taking care of people and had a love of animals.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 2pm at Poplar Springs Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Barbara Hunter; sisters, Lana (Mike) Sargent, and Amy (Donald) Jones; brother, Frankie (Michelle) Hunter; brother-in-law, Dubbie Henderson; daughters, Lynne (Stephen) Cottrell, and Barbie Henderson; 2 granddaughters, Becca and Aurora Cottrell.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Henderson; her daddy, Frank Hunter; and her sister, Tammy Hunter.
