Laverne Hulsey

Laverne Gladys Hulsey, age 89 of Haleyville, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at Lakeland Community Hospital.

She was born on June 5, 1932 in Alabama. Laverne was a dedicated member of the Revival Center Church of God.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at 2:00pm at Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama. Brother Joseph Martin will officiate.

Laverne is survived by her sons, Gene Hulsey and his wife Kelly, Joe Hulsey and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Ben Hulsey and his wife Whitney, BJ Hulsey and his wife Raven, Jessie McCreless and her husband Kaleb, and Katie Hulsey; great grandchildren, Hudson, Granger, and Brennett; brother, Grady Harrison and his wife Linda; sister, Yvonne Pendley; sister-in-law, Janice Harrison, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Lona Harrison, son, Perry Hulsey; granddaughter, Chasity Hulsey; brothers, John, K.C., Bobby, and LB Harrison; and sister-in-law, Faye Harrison.
