Kory Robert Williams

Kory Robert Williams, age 63, of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020. Kory was born on May 19, 1957 in California. He graduated Haleyville High School in 1975 and after attended the University of Alabama. On March 3, 1984, Kory married his beautiful wife, Sandra or as he would call her Sandy, at our Lady of Guadelupe in Haleyville. They resided in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida for 30 years. He retired from Palmer Course Design Company where he was a golf course architect for many years, he would travel all over the world to design golf courses. He was an avid sports fan, he loved the Anaheim Angels, the LA Lakers, and the Southern Cal Trojans. Kory was very outgoing and funny; he was the life of the party and always had to be the center of attention. Kory is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sandra Mays Williams; and his brothers, Gary Williams and Randy Williams. He was preceded in death by his father, Rueben John Nofts; mother, Jan Williams; and brother, Shawn Williams. No services are planned at this time.
