Kaleb Austin Burnett, 18, of Double Springs, entered into rest on December 18, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Burnett was born on January 8, 1999, in Russellville, Alabama. Kaleb was a 2017 graduate of Winston County High School and is enrolled at Bevil State Community College in Jasper as a freshman. He loved to play video games, hunt, fish, and hangout with friends. Kaleb was known as "K.B., Kab, or Bubbie" by family and friends. He loved everyone and was loved by all. Kaleb is survived by his father, Larry Jayson Burnett and wife Brandy; mother, Tina Melson Burnett; sister, Jewel Melson; step-brother, Tyler Mayfield; grandparents, Wendell and Vickie Moody, Rick and Denise Melson; great grandparents, Harold and Floris Dunaway; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.E. Burnett, Drew and Estelle Woodard, Thomas and Pauline Melson; and cousin, Carmen Johnson.
