Judy Cason Jones

July 22, 1960 — August 29, 2020

On August 29, 2020, Judy Cason Jones, loving wife and mother of three children, passed away at the age of 60.

Judy was born on July 22, 1960, in Chicago, Illinois to Hershel and Meige Lee “Peg” Cason. On March 12, 1988, Judy married Chris Jones. Together they raised three sons, Clay, Christopher and Brandon.

Judy had a passion for Alabama football and the beach as we all knew. Judy’s infectious smile, and her kind, compassionate spirit impacted all who knew her whether it was her family, friends or co-workers. Judy was formerly the manager of Princeton’s in Decatur for years before it closed and has been at the Hard Dock Marina ever since, where she will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

Judy was preceded in death by her father, Hershel, and her mother, Meige; and her brother, Danny.

Judy is survived by her husband, Chris; three sons, Clay, Christopher (Deanna) and Brandon; three grandchildren whom she loved very much, Kaleb, McKenzie and Connor; three brothers, Jimmy (Betty), Gordon (Michelle) and John (Mindy); and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her name.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 11am at Sardis No. 2 Baptist Church Cemetery, 3789 Sardis Airport Road, Addison, Alabama 35540.
