Johnny Ray Thrasher

Johnny Ray Thrasher, 62, of Haleyville, Alabama, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at his residence. 

Johnny was born on July 19, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois.

Johnny is survived by his children, Cecilia Warren (Greg), Johnny Thrasher Jr. (Tabitha), and Crystal Thrasher; grandchildren, Robyn Thrasher, Dustin Childers, Alexis Childers, Michael Thrasher, Aubrey Parker, Alyssa Parker, Aleigha Thrasher, Maverick Thrasher, Austin Thrasher, Zach Thrasher, Haley Thrasher, Sandra Marie Thrasher, Dylana Thrasher, Tiana Thrasher, Braxton Thrasher; 4 great grandchildren; his siblings, Carol Thrasher and Rickey Thrasher; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Bernice Thrasher; son, Greg Thrasher; sister, Bobby Jean Thrasher; and his ex-wife and the mother of his children, Sandra Thrasher.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2021 at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville from 1:00 pm – 2:00 p.m. where the services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Littleville Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama. Brother Tim Edwards will officiate.
