John Carrick

John “Johnny” William Carrick, age 63, of Biloxi, Mississippi, formerly of Haleyville, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021, at the VA Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.

Mr. Carrick was born on March 10, 1958 in Boyd, Kentucky. Johnny enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, spending time with his friends and family, and playing with his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 1:00pm -2:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where a memorial service will be held at 2:00pm. Brother Ricky White will officiate.

Johnny is survived by his daughters, Jessica Riddle, Tiffany Carrick; grandchildren, Ally Riddle, Averie Riddle, Ella Carrick; stepsister, Neita (Robert) Pierce; stepbrothers, Roger (Sandra) Reed, Thomas Reed; and a host of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Carrick; grandparents, William and Sudie Tesney; father, John Carrick; mother, Rachel “Dot” Reed; and stepfather, Rubert Reed.
