John Carlton Abbott

John Carlton Abbott, 80 of Houston, entered into rest on Monday, April 13, 2020 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Carlton was born on December 28, 1939 in Winston County, Alabama to Alvin and Winnie Hill Abbott.

As per State and Federal guidelines, a private service will be held. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill No. 1 Cemetery in Houston.

Carlton is survived by his wife, Nadine Abbott; sons, Tim Abbott and David Abbott; grandsons, Matt Abbott and his wife Natalie, Joseph Abbott and his wife Amanda; granddaughter, Morgan Martin and her husband Steven; great granddaughters, Taylor Porter, Piper Abbott and Ava Abbott.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Patty Boyd; grandson, Josh Abbott; brothers, Larry Abbott and Orville Abbott.
