Joe Mack Burleson

Joe Mack Burleson, 73 of Haleyville, entered into rest on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Hendrix Health and Rehab in Double Springs.

Joe was born on March 31, 1948 in Haleyville, Alabama. He loved to meet at the round table at Jack’s and talk with friends. He also loved banana splits and eating peanut butter and banana sandwiches. He enjoyed fishing, and trading knives and guns. Joe was a good man and loved his family, especially his step-children and grandbabies.

Joe is survived by his wife, Katherine Defoor Burleson; step-daughter, Amanda Baldwin and her boyfriend Jason Whitehead; step-children, Jacob Warren and his wife Samantha; sons, Mark Burleson and his wife Jessica, and Chuck Burleson and his children; grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Emma Kate and Landon Baldwin, Lennon Whitehead, Hannah, Tanner and Tate Burleson.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Pearline Burleson; and one sister, Sue.
