Jimmy H. "Rattler" Maze

Jimmy H. “Rattler” Maze, 79, of Addison entered into rest on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Maze was born June 14, 1941 in Sardis, Alabama.    J.H. loved his family, especially his grandkids and loved his horses.  He was a member of Arley First Congregational Church. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 11am-1pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison, where the service will begin at 1pm. Brother Samuel Tucker and Brother Mackey Watts will officiate.   Burial will follow in Sardis #2 Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jimmy is survived by his wife of 59 ½ years, Marie Maze; daughters, Sheila (Charlie) Talley, Vickie Maze and Lisa (Brad) Voegele; grandchildren, Courtney Hayes, Tiffany (Allen) Partain, Brittany Beam, Garrett (Savannah) Wood and Bryant Wood; nine great grandchildren; sisters, Louise Wright and Ellouise (Manley) Carrell and host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Lottie Maze; sons, Rickey Maze and Mickey Maze; granddaughters, Megan Maze and Crystal Maze and brother, Cotton Maze.
