Jesse B. Ralph Wakefield, age 93 of Double Springs, passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born August 6, 1927 in Double Springs, Alabama.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Mount Ebron Cemetery in Double Springs. Brother Adam Veal will officiate.
Jesse is survived by his wife, Edith Earline Wakefield; son, Bobby James Wakefield and his wife, Nena; grandchildren, James Blaine Wakefield and his wife, Nakia, Brandon Wakefield and his wife, Dawn, Scott Wakefield, Alanna Wakefield, Blake Wakefield and his wife, Diana, and Melanie Wakefield; great grandchildren, Brenna Wakefield, Bella Wakefield, Hannah Wakefield, Allie Wakefield, Briley Wakefield, Shelby Wakefield, Henlie Flannagin and Hayden Flannagin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lena Wakefield; brother, Loyd “Buck” Wakefield and son, Billy Ralph Wakefield.
