Jerry Wayne Young

Jerry Wayne Young, 74, of Haleyville entered into rest on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Cullman Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Young was born August 31, 1946 in Haleyville, Alabama.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 12pm at Rock Creek Cemetery in Double Springs. The family requests that all who attend the graveside service, please wear a mask due to the risk of contracting Covid-19 and also practice safe social distancing to protect everyone in attendance.

Jerry is survived by his daughters, Tracy (Tommie) Steele and Sherry (Jeff) Burleson; grandchildren, Ashton Steele, Peyton Steele, Joshua Burleson and Caleb (Samantha) Burleson; great grandson, Eli Burleson and sisters, Cathy (Jim) Neely and Carolyn (Don) Brand.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bart Young; mother, Birdie Young; son, Johnny Wayne Young and brothers, Larry Young and Freddie Young.
