Jerry Douglas Lindsey

Jerry Douglas Lindsey, 82 of Addison, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his home.

Jerry was born on August 13, 1938 in Huntsville, Alabama. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he retired after 20 years. After his retirement, he received an Associates Degree from Wallace State Community College. He was an avid motorcyclist and was always willing to help anybody.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 1pm at Hillcrest Cemetery in Addison. Reverend John T. White will officiate.

Jerry is survived by his daughter, Midori Ashikita; brother, James Lindsey and his wife Karen; grandchildren, Naoko and Yuki Ashikita; and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Yoshiko Lindsey; parents, Damon Willard and Dunreath Gertrude Lindsey; and brother, Dusty Lindsey.
