Jean Ragsdale Twilley

N. Jean Ragsdale Twilley, 89 of Hanceville, passed away May 22, 2023 at her residence.

She was born September 2, 1933, in Cullman, Alabama. She loved canning food and quilting. She loved to cook large meals, which she was excellent at. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Addison. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in New Mount Zion Cemetery. Brother Ricky Peak will officiate.

Jean is survived by her daughter, Carol Walker (Tommy); son, Lynn Ragsdale; sister, Betty Bishop; 14 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O.Z. Twilley; parents, Voight and Wilma Peak; daughter, Sharlene Twilley; son, Teddy Ragsdale; grandchildren, Andrea Faith Burney, Sondra Carol Burney, and Eddie Lamar Burney; and great grandchildren, Chance Ragsdale and Charlene Allison Alden.
