Janet "Janie" Martin - Alsup

Janet “Janie” Martin-Alsup, age 58, of Haleyville, passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

Mrs. Alsup was born on August 12, 1962 in Haleyville, Alabama.

Visitation will be Friday, July 16, 2021 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, where the service will be held at 7:00pm. Brother Joseph Martin and Brother Ricky White will officiate.

Janie is survived by her husband, Dennis Alsup; son, Joshua Alsup; daughter, Brittney Alsup; grandchildren, Ben Springfield, Bella Springfield, Grayson Springfield; sister, Judy Prestridge; brothers, Larry Martin, Jerry Martin, Jimmy Martin, and Billy Martin; nieces, Connie McCaney, Kay Martin, Miranda Elkins, Karrie Pierce, Stacy Holcomb, Angel Rogers; nephews, Jay Martin, Jeremy Martin, Jerry Ashley Martin, Rexel Martin, Joseph Martin; and a host of great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Yvonne Martin; sister, Mary Ellen Fox, Vonyanne Martin; brothers, Randy Martin and Dean Martin.
